Kashawn Glaze Obituary, Death; – The Beaufort County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identities of the four individuals who lost their lives in a shooting incident at a bar and grill located in Beaufort County.
The deceased have been identified as Kashawn Glaze, a 22-year-old resident of Beaufort; Sherrod Smalls, a 33-year-old also from Beaufort; A’shan’tek Milledge, a 22-year-old from Burton; and Amos Gary, a 54-year-old from St. Helena.
As reported by deputies from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, they received a call regarding the incident at Willie’s Bar and Grill on St. Helena Island around 1 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered that there were hundreds of patrons present when the shooting took place, and several individuals had sustained gunshot wounds.
Emergency Medical Services transported some victims, while others made their way to nearby hospitals for treatment, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office. In total, at least 20 individuals were injured due to the gunfire, with four individuals in critical condition and four others pronounced dead at the scene.
The current condition of the 20 injured individuals remains unknown.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting is ongoing, as stated by deputies, and the sheriff’s office has reportedly identified several persons of interest.
