Kainon McKissick Obituary, Death; – The Florence County coroner is releasing the name of the 15-year-old killed in a Lake City shooting.
Kainon McKissick, of Lake City, died at the hospital from his injuries suffered in a Monday shooting, according to Coroner Keith von Lutken.
Lake City Police Chief Patrick Miles said that the shooting happened in the general area of the 400 block of Elm Street. McKissick’s body will be autopsied this week at MUSC. The Florence County Sheriff’s Office is helping Lake City police with the case.
