Jyran Johnson Obituary, Death; – Family members have come forward to identify the teenager who was discovered shot dead in Algiers on Monday night.
On Tuesday, the family of 17-year-old Jyran Johnson informed WWL Louisiana’s Mike McDaniel that he was the individual found fatally shot. They stated that he was a junior at LB Landry High School.
As reported by the New Orleans Police Department, officers arrived at approximately 8 p.m. at the 3700 block of Texas Drive, where they located the victim, now recognized as Johnson, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Paramedics declared the victim deceased at the scene.
The investigation is still ongoing, and no further details have been disclosed.
