Julio Caro Obituary, Death; – The police department of New Mexico State University has confirmed the identity of the pedestrian who tragically lost his life in a traffic accident on Saturday morning at the intersection of Cholla Road and Triviz Drive. The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Julio Caro, a resident of Doña Ana County.
The incident occurred around 6:45 a.m. on Saturday when Caro was hit by a vehicle that was traveling south on Triviz Drive, situated between Film Street and Cholla Road, close to the Las Cruces campus of NMSU. Preliminary investigations suggest that alcohol was not a contributing factor in the accident, and currently, there are no criminal charges pending against the driver, who remained at the scene and cooperated fully with authorities.
