Juarez Rodriguez,Espinosa Martel Arrested; – Madisonville Police have reported the recovery of a trailer, which had been reported stolen from South Carolina, at a gas station located on Dulin Street on Wednesday. During the investigation, three individuals were taken into custody.

As detailed in court documents, officers were dispatched to the vicinity to locate a vehicle and trailer linked to a trespassing incident in the county. Authorities discovered the vehicle and trailer at the gas station around 4 p.m., with three suspects identified as Juarez Rodriguez, 44; Espinosa Martel, 44; and Eligio Sanchez, 44, present inside the vehicle.

Officials indicated that a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) found on the trailer was checked against a database, which confirmed that the trailer had been reported stolen from South Carolina. An alert was subsequently sent to the Bluffton Police Department in South Carolina, which verified the theft.

During a search conducted as part of the arrest process, officers discovered suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the pockets of Martel and Sanchez. Additionally, a search of the vehicle yielded 11.3 grams of suspected methamphetamine.

 

Rodriguez, Martel, and Sanchez face charges of receiving stolen property and trafficking in a controlled substance, while Martel and Sanchez have also been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
