Juanita Birdsong Death; – The Lebanon Police Department has filed charges against a man from Murfreesboro in connection with the death of a woman resulting from a fatal accident that occurred in September. According to LPD, 41-year-old Terry Elmore is facing a charge of aggravated vehicular homicide for his alleged role in the death of Juanita Birdsong, a resident of Lebanon.

On the evening of September 24, an officer on patrol along West Main Street discovered a multi-vehicle collision in front of the Wilson Bank & Trust. The police reported that additional units were promptly summoned to assist at the scene.

At the time of the incident, two drivers sustained serious injuries, identified by LPD as Birdsong and Elmore. Birdsong was declared deceased at the scene, while Elmore was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. “Given the seriousness of the incident, our traffic unit was called to conduct an investigation,” stated LPD.

Following the investigation, evidence gathered led to the charges against Elmore for aggravated vehicular homicide in relation to Birdsong’s death. He was apprehended by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office and subsequently booked into the Wilson County Jail with a bond set at $400,000.
