Joshua Wall Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identities of the man who lost his life and the woman who sustained injuries in a collision that occurred in rural Madison County.
The deceased has been named as Joshua Wall, 43, from Elkhorn. The woman, who was transported to the hospital with critical injuries, is Ericka McCarthy, 33, from Tilden. No further information regarding McCarthy’s condition was included in the announcement.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office reported that they responded to a two-vehicle accident that took place approximately two miles east of Meadow Grove on Highway 275 at around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Preliminary findings indicate that the SUV was traveling west when it veered into the opposite lane. The driver of the pickup truck attempted to evade the SUV, leading to a head-on collision.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
