Joshua Sanchez Obituary, Death; – A 14-year-old male was fatally shot at an apartment complex in the Little Village area of Chicago on Monday night, according to police reports.
The incident took place around 10:22 p.m. in the 2200-block of South Christiana Avenue. Officers responded to a call regarding a shooting within the apartment building and discovered the teenager with a gunshot wound to the chest.
He was subsequently transported to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified him as Joshua Sanchez. Currently, no individuals are in custody, and Area Four detectives are conducting an investigation.
