Joseph E. Beranek MISSING; – The Macomb Police Department is actively seeking information regarding a missing individual. As reported on the Macomb Illinois Police Department’s Facebook page, Joseph E. Beranek, a 46-year-old resident of Macomb, was declared missing on August 27. Beranek was last observed near Black Hawk State Park in Rock Island, dressed in a blue Looney Tunes t-shirt and either black or khaki shorts.
According to officials, Beranek’s family had not seen him since August 21. During the course of the investigation, Macomb police discovered that Beranek had traveled to Black Hawk State Park around August 21, where his vehicle was subsequently located.
