Jose Roberto Martinez Obituary, Death; – A man injured in a forklift accident at a dock in Laredo has succumbed to his injuries, as reported by the Laredo Police Department.
Authorities confirmed that 56-year-old Jose Roberto Martinez passed away at the hospital following the incident.
On Thursday, April 3, emergency responders were dispatched to 611 Union Pacific after Martinez fell from a dock while operating a forklift. The vehicle fell onto his left ankle and leg.
Martinez was conscious and able to communicate when rescue teams extricated him and transported him to Doctors Hospital Main.
On Friday, April 4, police announced that Martinez had died as a result of his injuries. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
