Jose Rivera Obituary, Death; – A teenager lost his life following a single-vehicle accident involving a tree in Charlotte last week, as reported by the police on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Jose Rivera. The incident occurred shortly after midnight on Friday, March 7, on The Plaza near Eastway Drive.
According to police, Rivera was operating a pickup truck and was traveling eastbound at a “high rate of speed” when he left the roadway and collided with a tree. Paramedics declared Rivera dead at the scene, according to reports. Authorities suspect that both excessive speed and impairment contributed to the crash, and toxicology tests are currently pending.
