Jose Luis Miranda Reza Obituary, Death; – The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) has confirmed the identity of the individual who was fatally shot in the early hours of Tuesday, October 8, on the southeast side of Colorado Springs.
CSPD reports that 28-year-old Jose Luis Miranda Reza succumbed to injuries from gunshot wounds sustained during an incident in the 2600 block of Durango Drive, located near the Hancock Expressway and Delta Drive. Officers responded to a shooting report at the Durango Drive location around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, where they discovered Reza deceased.
The El Paso County Coroner’s Office will establish the official cause and manner of death; however, Reza’s death is currently being treated as a homicide. The investigation remains active, with CSPD continuing to seek information regarding potential suspects.
