Jose Daniel Martinez-Perez Obituary, Death; – Connecticut State Police have identified the pedestrian who tragically lost his life after being hit by four vehicles three of which left the scene on Interstate 95 last week in Stamford as a 34-year-old man from the city.
Martinez-Perez was located in the right travel lane on Interstate 95 north, just before Exit 6, at approximately 6:24 a.m. on November 19 when he was struck by a vehicle, which propelled him to the left side of the highway, as per the report.
According to the report, Martinez-Perez was subsequently hit by at least two additional vehicles, along with a fourth vehicle that was merging into the left lane and could not avoid colliding with him.
The vehicle that first struck Martinez-Perez left the scene, and the two other vehicles that subsequently hit him also fled the area, as stated by the police. State police are actively seeking information regarding the three vehicles that fled and are continuing their investigation.
