According to the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to reports of a shooting involving several individuals on Butler Island Road at approximately 5:30 p.m.
Upon their arrival, deputies discovered two men engaged in a confrontation, both suffering from gunshot wounds. One individual was declared deceased at the scene, identified as 19-year-old Johnny Brian Guin, Jr. from Autryville.
