John Jackson Obituary, Death; – The Allegheny County Medical Examiner has confirmed the identity of the individual who was fatally shot in Wilkinsburg last week.
Authorities reported that John Jackson, aged 31, was shot along South Avenue and Mulberry Street on January 14.
According to police, Jackson succumbed to his injuries after being discovered with a gunshot wound to the head.
As of Monday evening, it remains uncertain whether any suspects have been apprehended.
Officials have stated that an investigation is currently ongoing regarding the deadly shooting that took place in Allegheny County on Tuesday night.
Dispatchers from Allegheny County informed Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that officials were summoned to the location at South Avenue and Mulberry Street shortly before 9 p.m.
A photojournalist present at the scene documented several police vehicles cordoning off the intersection to both incoming and outgoing traffic.
As per officials, a man was discovered deceased in that vicinity with a gunshot wound to the head at the intersection of South Avenue and Center Avenue.
