Joe Stacy Obituary, Death; – A man who police said shot and killed his stepfather in a Conway area home will try to get out of jail. A hearing for Tyler Denno is slated for Thursday morning, where his defense team has made a motion asking for a judge to set bond.
Denno is charged with murder in Joe Stacy’s shooting death at a home on Restful Lane back in June. Arrest warrants show Stacy was found dead on his kitchen floor. Family members said they were actually getting ready to go to a funeral service when Stacy’s sister found him dead at the home.
When Horry County police executed a search warrant at the home, they found a safe in Denno’s room that had a gun inside. Warrants state that the gun was test fired and casings from the test fire matched the casings found at the scene. Denno has been in jail since his arrest.
