Jesse Nishikawa Obituary, Death; – A homeless man who was electrocuted after coming into contact with the third rail on Metro tracks at a station in the Westlake District was identified by county authorities Wednesday. The victim was Jesse Nishikawa, 33, according to the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner.

Firefighters responded at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday to the Westlake/MacArthur Park Station in the 600 block of South Alvarado Street to reports of man down on tracks shared by Metro’s B (Red) and D (Purple) train lines, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
