Jennifer Paramore Hill Obituary, Death; – A woman has lost her life, and her husband now faces murder charges following a shooting incident that occurred on Friday afternoon, as reported by the Troy Police Department.
Authorities arrived at the 1000 block of County Road 2221 shortly before 12:45 p.m. and discovered the victim inside a residence. The woman, identified as 37-year-old Jennifer Paramore Hill from Troy, was immediately transported to a hospital in Montgomery to receive treatment for a gunshot wound. Unfortunately, investigators later confirmed that Hill succumbed to her injuries.
The victim’s spouse, 39-year-old Benjamin Joshua Hill, was present at the scene when emergency responders arrived. He was subsequently taken into custody for questioning and later charged with murder.
Benjamin Hill was processed at the Troy City Jail before being transferred to the Pike County Jail, where he is currently being held without bond while awaiting an Aniah’s Law hearing.
The investigation is being conducted with the assistance of the Pike County district attorney’s office and the Pike County coroner’s office. No motive for the shooting has been disclosed at this time.
