Jeffrey Hettinger Obituary, Death; – A 43-year-old man was fatally stabbed during a reported domestic incident in Bellevue on Monday morning, according to authorities.
At approximately 4:16 a.m., police responded to a call regarding a physical domestic disturbance at a residence located near South Kennedy Freeway and Chandler Road, as stated by Bellevue police. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man lying on the floor inside the home with multiple stab wounds, investigators reported.
The victim, identified as Jeffrey Hettinger, 43, was declared dead at the scene by Bellevue police. Authorities also found a 26-year-old woman at the location, who appeared to be connected to the incident. The woman reported experiencing pain in her nose but declined medical assistance, as per Bellevue police.
Officials indicated that the woman was taken into custody without incident for questioning and was subsequently transported to a medical facility for evaluation.
