Jeanette McMasters Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed that a woman who was reported missing in Avondale last week has been discovered deceased.
On Monday morning, Avondale Police were alerted to a dry wash area located near the intersection of Copenhagen Drive and Orange Blossom Lane, following a report from a landscaping crew who had found the body of a woman.
Upon arrival, detectives identified the deceased as 83-year-old Jeanette McMasters, who had been reported missing on the afternoon of September 13 after she left her residence near Ashland Way and 112th Avenue on foot.
The Avondale Police Criminal Investigations Bureau is actively pursuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding McMasters’ disappearance and subsequent death. No further details have been released at this time.
