Javar Acton Arrested; – The individual suspected of being involved in a fatal shooting in Owensboro on Monday evening has been named.
According to a statement from the Owensboro Police on Facebook, officers responded to a call in the 900 block of Gardenside Drive, where they discovered an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds within a residence. Despite the life-saving efforts of the officers, as well as personnel from the Owensboro Fire Department and AMR, the victim was ultimately pronounced dead by the Daviess County Coroner’s Office.
Subsequently, Javar Acton, aged 21, has been charged with murder, as reported by the Owensboro Police Department. Additionally, the name of the victim is expected to be disclosed later on Tuesday.
