Jaspinder Singh Obituary, Death; – The Department of Public Safety has confirmed the identity of the individual discovered off I-80 in Delle on Thursday, September 26.
The deceased has been identified as Jaspinder Singh from California, with his age currently unspecified. At approximately 10:15 a.m. on September 26, troopers from the Utah Highway Patrol responded to a report regarding a deceased individual found inside a semi-truck at the Delle on-ramp, located at milepost 70. Upon their arrival, they located the body in the sleeper compartment of the vehicle.
As stated in a press release from the Department of Public Safety, a colleague had observed that the man’s GPS was inactive and opted to check on him, ultimately discovering him deceased.
“The circumstances surrounding the death are suspicious, and we suspect foul play,” the DPS press release indicates. “The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) will be overseeing the investigation, and the county attorney has been informed.” Currently, no additional information is available.
