Jason Briscoe Obituary, Death;- Officials from the Perry County Sheriff’s Office have announced that they are looking into the circumstances surrounding the death of a man discovered deceased at Rainbow Pay Lake.
As stated in a press release, dispatch received a call on Saturday at approximately 2:30 p.m. from an individual reporting that a man was hanging over a raft with his head submerged in the water.
Deputies and emergency responders located the man unresponsive on a raft in the water. He was subsequently extracted from the water and declared dead by the Perry County Coroner.
The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Jason Briscoe. An autopsy was conducted on Sunday, and it has been reported that authorities suspect Briscoe may have died due to drowning. We will provide updates as this story develops.
