Jaquan Humphries Obituary, Death;- Maine State Police officials have reported that a shooting at a residence in Palmyra has resulted in the death of a man from Massachusetts. The incident occurred shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday at 531 Madawaska Road, as stated by law enforcement.
Deputies from the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office discovered the deceased individual at the scene. The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Jaquan Humphries, who resided in the Mattapan neighborhood of Boston.
An autopsy performed by the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Humphries succumbed to a gunshot wound, and his death has been classified as a homicide.
While authorities have not disclosed any details regarding potential suspects, they have indicated that there is currently no threat to public safety. Investigators noted that Humphries had been residing at the Palmyra home.
The inquiry into the shooting is still active.
