According to the Glenview Police Department, officers were dispatched to a home in the 0-100 block of Glenview Road shortly after 7:30 p.m. for a welfare check, where they found a man deceased inside the property. Subsequent investigations revealed that the individual had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
On Tuesday afternoon, authorities identified the deceased as 61-year-old James Solger and classified the death as a homicide. No further details have been disclosed. Local residents informed WGN News that they did not hear or see anything unusual until the arrival of police lights on Sunday night. This incident is not the first of its kind in the neighborhood.
