James Smith,Jaleel Martin Obituary, Death; – Two men were found dead in an apparent murder suicide in Sparks.
At around 7:14 p.m. on Oct. 15, officers with the Sparks Police Department responded to a residence in the 1500 block of Satellite Drive on reports of two dead men. A caller told police that they had not heard from the resident in a few days and came to check on him.
When they arrived, officers found evidence that multiple gunshots had been fired, along with multiple guns. Police say they believe that both men died as a result of a murder/suicide. The men were not related but lived at the residence, according to police.
They were identified as 78-year-old James Smith and 31-year-old Jaleel Martin.
Sparks police say they will not be releasing further details.
