James Michael Osmus Obituary, Death; – A bicyclist who tragically lost his life in a collision in Black Mountain Ranch on Friday has been identified by local medical authorities.

At approximately 7 p.m., James Michael Osmus, aged 60, was cycling westbound in the designated bicycle lane on Camino Del Sur, specifically in the 15700 block, when he was struck by a westbound Volkswagen sedan, as reported by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office on its official website.

The driver of the Volkswagen, a 50-year-old woman, attempted to administer lifesaving assistance to the bicyclist after contacting emergency services. Unfortunately, upon the arrival of first responders, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene. The medical examiner’s office has classified the incident as an accident.
