James Michael Corbett Obituary, Death; – The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating a dealy crash that happened in Garden City Friday morning.
Around 7:00 a.m., troopers responded to the 4500 block of U.S. Highway 50, near North Airlinks Drive or milepost 71, for the accident. They learned that the man was walking north on U.S. Highway 50 when he was struck by a westbound vehicle. He died from injuries on the scene.
KHP’s Critical Highway Accident Response Team (CHART) was activated and responded to the scene.
The man was identified as 34-year-old James Michael Corbett of Garden City. The crash remains under investigation.
