James King Obituary, Death; – Authorities have revealed the name of a pedestrian who tragically lost his life on Wednesday after being hit by a vehicle at a bustling intersection in south Augusta.
James King, aged 52, reportedly “ran into traffic” at the junction of Deans Bridge and Barton Chapel roads around 6:12 p.m., as stated by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
He was transported to a hospital, where he was declared dead at 6:50 p.m., according to Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen. An autopsy is set to take place.
