James Eads Obituary, Death; – A 78-year-old driver lost his life when his pickup truck collided with a tree on Thursday in Garden Grove.
According to Garden Grove police Sgt. Charles Starnes, officers were dispatched at approximately 4:55 a.m. to the 13200 block of Chapman Avenue following reports of a vehicle crash involving a tree. Upon arrival, they found the driver unresponsive. Paramedics later declared James Eads, a resident of Orange, deceased at the scene.
Eads was the sole occupant of the white 2000 Toyota Tundra. There were no signs suggesting that alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
