Jamal McCullough GENERAL; – A month has passed since a disabled woman was left for dead by a driver who fled the scene, and a man from Philadelphia is now facing multiple charges in connection with the incident.

Authorities report that 37-year-old Jamal McCullough surrendered to law enforcement on Monday regarding the fatal hit-and-run that occurred on November 11 in Bala Cynwyd. McCullough is alleged to have struck a woman near the intersection of City Avenue and Conshohocken Road, resulting in her being ejected from her wheelchair. Shortly after the incident, the vehicle involved was located, and the driver, who has been cooperating with the investigation, was identified.

On Tuesday, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, in conjunction with the Lower Merion Police Department, formally charged McCullough with offenses including Accidents Involving Death or Personal Injury, Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, and Failure to Immediately Notify Police of an Accident Involving Injury or Death, among other related charges.
