Jamaal Vaughan Obituary, Death;- A man who was shot and killed on the South Side of the city on Sunday has been identified. The incident occurred around 6:11 a.m. in the 10600-block of S. Walden Parkway, according to the Chicago Police Department.
Authorities reported that two men were engaged in an argument when one of them opened fire inside the residence. A 20-year-old man sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body and was transported to the hospital, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
The medical examiner later confirmed his identity as Jamaal Vaughan, a resident of the Englewood neighborhood. Currently, no individuals are in custody, and detectives from CPD Area Two are conducting the investigation.
