Jalin Brewer Obituary, Death; – A second victim has succumbed to injuries related to a mass shooting that occurred last month in the 18th and Vine District of Kansas City, Missouri.
On Tuesday, law enforcement officials reported that they were informed by personnel at a local hospital that one of the individuals injured in the incident on June 22 had passed away. The deceased has been identified as Jalin Brewer, aged 24.
In total, six individuals were hit by gunfire during the event. Another victim, Ty’rick Henry, aged 26, was declared dead shortly after the shooting took place. Alongside the two fatalities, four additional individuals sustained injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The day following the shooting, prosecutors in Jackson County charged Leonard Holman Jr., aged 24, with unlawful discharge of a firearm and resisting arrest in relation to the incident. At that time, police were still investigating whether Holman was directly involved in the shooting itself.
The investigation is ongoing.
