Isiah Macon Obituary, Death; – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has identified the individual who was fatally shot in west Macon over the weekend. According to their report, 62-year-old Isiah Macon was shot in the 800 block of Key Street on Saturday at approximately 5:53 a.m.
Upon the arrival of deputies at the scene, they discovered Macon unresponsive with a gunshot wound, as stated in the press release. The coroner’s office reported that Macon was transported to a hospital for medical treatment; however, he succumbed to his injuries. The next of kin of Macon has been informed.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has indicated that the investigation into the shooting is ongoing. They have stated that further information will be provided as it becomes available.
