Howard Charles Pomitz III Obituary, Death; – A man was struck and killed in a collision in Charlotte, and authorities are still looking for the driver.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police responded to reports of a hit and run at approximately 5:43 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, on North Tryon Street, near Sprunt Street.
Howard Charles Pomitz III was discovered in the street and succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to law enforcement, the vehicle involved is believed to be a black Chevrolet Cruze that was last observed traveling north on North Tryon.
