Harold Jack Howard Obituary, Death;- A 79-year-old prisoner at the William Donaldson Correctional Facility has passed away. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified him as Harold Jack Howard, a resident of Brighton. Howard was discovered unresponsive in the prison infirmary at 6:31 a.m. on Monday and was declared dead at 6:37 a.m.
Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates reported that Howard was undergoing treatment for several serious health conditions. An autopsy revealed no indications of trauma or foul play in connection with his death. Howard was serving a life sentence for various convictions in Jefferson County, including rape and robbery, as documented in court records.
