Gregory Rokus Obituary, Death; – The McHenry County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of a Woodstock resident who lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on Sunday.
The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the 400 block of East Kimball Avenue, as stated in a news release. The male driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was declared deceased at the scene. Following the accident, Kimball Avenue was closed for several hours.
On Tuesday, the coroner’s office identified the deceased as Gregory Rokus, 53, from Woodstock. Preliminary autopsy findings indicate that Rokus succumbed to blunt force trauma. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
