Gaurav Jaisingh Obituary, Death; – A college student tragically fell from a balcony and passed away on Sunday during a senior trip to the Bahamas, as reported by the university. Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, issued a statement to WCVB confirming that one of their students died ‘in a tragic accident during the annual senior class trip in the Bahamas.’
The university identified the student as Gaurav Jaisingh. The Royal Bahamas Police Force has initiated an investigation into the death of a man from the United States who died on Sunday. According to police, around 10 p.m., the victim was in his hotel room on Paradise Island with other roommates when he accidentally fell from an upper-level balcony and was found unresponsive on the lower floor. He was transported to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries during the ambulance ride. As of Monday afternoon, neither the police nor the university have released additional details.
