Gary Bevins III Obituary, Death; – A road in South Burlington has reopened on Thursday following a fatal accident that resulted in one death.
According to the South Burlington Police Department, the incident occurred on Wednesday shortly before 7 p.m. on Nowland Farm Road, where officers reported that the victim collided with a tree.
The victim has been identified as Gary Bevins III, 37, from Colchester. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe that Bevins may have been exceeding the speed limit at the time of the accident.
The road was closed for several hours while the investigation took place but has now been officially reopened.
An investigation is still in progress.
