Frankie Navarro Obituary, Death; – Authorities have identified the man shot and killed by police in St. Charles on Friday evening as 34-year-old Frankie Navarro.
The incident began around 6:30 p.m. when officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a home in the 600 block of Hickory Dale Drive. Police say Navarro was armed with a knife and involved in a fight with a woman on the front porch.
According to investigators, Navarro ignored repeated orders to drop the weapon and ran toward an officer. The officer fired, hitting Navarro.
Navarro was pronounced dead at the scene.
