Elizabeth Michelle Elder Obituary, Death; – The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into a single-vehicle accident that led to the fatality of an adult female driver. The incident was reported at approximately 5:52 a.m. on Friday, November 29, 2024.
Preliminary findings indicate that a 2005 Nissan Sentra was traveling eastbound on 340th Road near Hawk Road, situated north of Pleasanton. The vehicle veered off the road and collided with a utility pole. The driver, identified as Elizabeth Michelle Elder, 30, from Ravenna, Nebraska, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies received assistance from the Kearney/Buffalo County Fatality Accident Investigation Team (FAIT), the Pleasanton Volunteer Fire Department, CHI Good Samaritan Hospital Paramedics, Air Care, the Buffalo County Highway Department, and the Buffalo County Attorney’s Office. The next of kin have been informed. The investigation remains ongoing.
