Elias Arenas Obituary, Death; – Authorities have officially named a 25-year-old man who tragically lost his life last week in a traffic collision near Valley View Casino. Elias Arenas, a resident of Escondido, was walking with his girlfriend in the 2800 block of North Lake Wohlford Road in Valley Center when an SUV collided with them from behind shortly before 11 p.m. on April 17, as reported by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office. Paramedics transported Arenas to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, where he was declared deceased. Information regarding the severity of the woman’s injuries has not yet been disclosed.
