Dwayne Walton Obituary, Death; – An individual from Los Angeles was fatally shot in Long Beach on Tuesday afternoon. The victim, identified by the Long Beach Police Department as 32-year-old Dwayne Walton, was shot shortly before 1:15 p.m. in the 900 block of Via Carmelitos, according to a police news release.
Upon the arrival of officers, he was found to have suffered “life-threatening gunshot wounds,” and despite attempts to save his life, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The news release indicated that the motive behind the shooting and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
