Dustin W Butler Obituary, Death; – A 28-year-old individual has lost his life following an accident near Sylacauga. The incident occurred on January 25 on U.S. National Forest Road 601D, situated approximately four miles from the Sylacauga City Limits in Clay County.
According to troopers from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division, Dustin W. Butler was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the SUV in which he was a passenger when the vehicle veered off the road, collided with a tree, and subsequently overturned.
He was initially transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and later airlifted to UAB, where he succumbed to his injuries on January 26. Butler was a resident of Weogufka, a community located in Coosa County.
