Donna Vickery Obituary, Death; – Troopers have confirmed the identity of a woman who lost her life in a weekend accident on Interstate 40. The incident, involving a single vehicle, occurred on Saturday at approximately 2:30 p.m. on the westbound exit of Highway 41, near Wallace.
Donna Vickery, a 66-year-old resident of Willard, was pronounced dead at the scene, while a passenger was airlifted to ECU Health Medical Center due to injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities report that the woman’s truck veered off the roadway for reasons yet to be determined, subsequently overturning and colliding with a tree.
