Devin Javonne Wilson Obituary, Death; – The Coroner of Dorchester County has confirmed the identity of a man who lost his life during a confrontation on Monday at the Francis Lieber Correctional Institution in Ridgeville. The deceased has been identified as 29-year-old Devin Javonne Wilson, who sustained fatal stab wounds in a communal area of the facility at approximately 1:15 PM.
An autopsy for Wilson is scheduled to take place on Wednesday. An investigation involving multiple organizations is currently in progress, spearheaded by the South Carolina Department of Corrections Inspector General’s Office, SLED, and the Dorchester County Coroner’s Office.
