Dennis Chandley,Diana Chandley Obituary, Death;- Investigators from the Hamblen County Sheriff’s Office have provided additional information regarding a suspected murder-suicide that occurred on Thursday evening in Eastern Hamblen County.
The individuals who lost their lives have been identified as a married couple, Dennis Chandley, aged 69, and Diana Chandley, aged 66, residing on N. Morelock Road in Hamblen County. On Friday evening at approximately 9:45 p.m., deputies from the Hamblen County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a home on North Morelock Road in Hamblen County in response to an open 911 call.
Upon their arrival, deputies were unable to establish contact with anyone at the front entrance, and as they moved to the back of the residence, they discovered a male individual lying on the floor of the family room with a handgun positioned nearby.
