Demetrius J McGhee Obituary, Death; – A man from Birmingham lost his life in a collision involving two vehicles on Interstate 30 in Cleburne County. The Alabama State Troopers identified the deceased as 38-year-old Demetrius J. McGhee on Thursday.
The incident occurred at 12:55 p.m. on I-20 in Heflin. According to Senior Trooper Brandon Bailey, McGhee was operating a Ford Econoline van when it collided with a Kenworth tractor-trailer driven by 55-year-old Michael L. Simpson from Camden. McGhee was declared dead at the scene.
