Deana Viano Obituary, Death; – The Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood has identified a woman who died after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday. Deana Viano, 66, of Peoria died from multiple force trauma injuries, Harwood said,
Viano was struck by a vehicle near Knoxville Avenue and Orchard Place at approximately 6:53 p.m. on Wednesday. When officers arrived, they found a person attempting life-saving measures on the woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Peoria Police Sgt. Amy Dotson. The driver of the vehicle that struck the woman also remained on the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
