Dawnielle Rhodes Obituary, Death; – A woman from Wetumpka lost her life, and three others sustained injuries in a collision that occurred in Elmore County on Friday, as reported by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Dawnielle Rhodes, aged 24, was fatally injured when her vehicle struck a pickup truck shortly after 7:30 p.m. Authorities indicated that she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another female passenger in her vehicle was transported to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery for medical care. The driver of the pickup truck also suffered injuries and was taken to Baptist Medical Center South, according to ALEA.
The accident transpired at the intersection of Fern Road and Ceasarville Road, approximately one mile south of Holtville. Troopers from ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are currently conducting an investigation.
